  • Global Literacy Deep Dives

World leaders adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015. The SDGs are universal goals that call all countries to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

Topics within the curated modules below explore concepts that align with each of the SDGs to help us learn more about these topics from multiple perspectives.

These modules each have linkages to the various Empathy Challenge Kits, and as we evolve our platform we'll make those linkages more clear.

  • give the "humanity" and "leadership" resources a whirl!

Using The Resources If You're Not A PK-12 Teacher:

We are a small nonprofit organization creating content about real people's stories. We deeply hope that you will not repurpose this content for sale or distribution without speaking with us first. We LOVE when people share this site with others. We don't love when people cut/edit/paste it into their work without notice and without chipping in to support BWE and our wider network of storytellers and story subjects.

Disclaimer:

Using these empathy challenges (Ages 3 and up) may encourage the consistent desire to be mindful, empathize with others, understand new perspectives, think critically, act creatively, collaborate with others, learn about the world, and to pursue a life focused on leading positive change in our world. We find that tends to happen a good bit.
